The Army Aviation Association's AGM was held on 24th September 2011.

The motion by Mr Owen Eather; "That the Army Airfield at Oakey Base be named after Major George Constable, OC, 161 Reconnaissance Flight, Nui Dat, 1967-68, who died on active service on his final sortie in country, that the Army Aviation Association make every effort to achieve this aim and keep all members fully advised on the execution of this motion."

was passed by a unanimous vote.
